Carried out the Resin flooring in the kennel blocks which was part of the rebuild for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The building was officially opened by HRH The Queen.

It is the world’s largest candy store at 35,000 sq ft. We carried out 3,000m2 of Flowcrete Hydraseal moisture primer with EP Flexible membrane, Industrial Top Flowtex PT epoxy power trowelled screed, in M&M world bespoke colours.

A phased re-development to provide new teaching and resource facilities to replace the existing outdated 1960s blocks. 1,650m2 of Isocrete HDK screed with Flowcrete Hydraseal moisture resin primer and EP Flexible membrane with Mondeco Classsic epoxy terrazzo in 2 different colours.

A mixed sixth form college, we carried out the work while the school remained fully operational throughout. The project consisted of 780m2 of Isocrete HDKP screed and Hydraseal moisture resin primer. EP Flexible membrane Peran STB Classic decorative quartz screed, incorporating 3 different seal coats.

The £60m building encompasses a reception to the campus as well as music, media and drama zones across five floors. The project consisted of 1,450m2 of Isocrete Heavy Duty K screed. Flowtex heavy duty epoxy screed, fully broadcasted with decorative quartz aggregate, incorporating 2 differential seal coats.

A 21 storey project incorporating the following; Surface preparation, Isocrete M-Bond, Flowcrete Industrial Top, Isopol SBR, Isocrete K-Screed. This project project required deliveries in 10T loads and then transported by wheelbarrows into an internal mixing area where we pumped to all 21 floors using a new Putzmeister 760 screed pump. see website here.

Knight Dragon project Greenwich Peninsula

Wates Construction led the advancement of Greenwich’s new ‘island community’ in the heart of London. Working closely with developer Knight Dragon, Wates developed a partnership which keeps growing as it builds within Knight Dragon’s 160-acre Greenwich Peninsula masterplan- one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe.

Lords Cricket Ground, London

A screed and resin project consisting of two manufacturers. The screed installed throughout the concourses and back of house was an Isocrete HD K-Screed, this was bonded in areas and also laid on Kingspan H350 insulation. The resins were then applied to the screeds, these included Sika Comfort, Sikafloor 20 Purcem, Sika Deco Flake. See website for more info. Click Here.

B930 Research Campus

B930 is a landmark building at the entrance to the Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge, providing cutting-edge facilities for lease. A key component of the project brief was for the interior arrangements of the building to be as flexible as possible to allow spatial adjustments to the laboratory and office spaces without major disruption and expense. The end product resulted in B930 being awarded the title of Best Kalzip Project Under 1500m2 at the Kalzip Roofing Awards in April 2015.

Abergavenny Fine foods

Abergavenny Fine Foods are a family owned business. When TSL met the owners the site had been devastated by a fire and time was of the essence to rebuild in order continue to provide their customers with high quality foods. TSL cleared the site from fire damage and debris, provided a detailed design, construction and co-ordinated and installed equipment in time for their critical opening date. The project was a great success.

Delivered for Pure Student Living in time for the new academic year, the completed 19-storey building created 417 en-suite bedrooms including kitchenettes with access to common areas and a gym on the first floor. The development, located next to London Metropolitan University, also includes prime-retail space on the ground floor and gives the whole building a 12,000 sq. m footprint.

Dome Refurb Longleat

The Centre Parcs dome refurbishment at Longleat consists of a phased replacement of the glazed roof along with repairs to the glulam arch structure. SDC have developed an innovative access solution whereby a working platform is installed between the glulam structure giving clear access for the removal and replacement of the existing roof. This working platform, installed using rope access and abseiling techniques, provides a waterproof barrier, safety deck and prevents debris from falling into the sub-tropical swimming pool complex and restaurant areas below.

Rayner Lenses, Worthing

TSL Projects


Constructed a state of the art production facility for the manufacturing of Intraocular Lenses. The Project Management, Construction and Commissioning were all completed successfully by TSL and a full validation process was completed by TSL in-house validation team.

St Lukes Theatre Bedford

The project comprised the renovation and conversion of the Grade II listed chapel into a 300 seat galleried theatre and restoration of a listed Minister’s House to provide front of house facilities, offices and a congregation hall. In addition, a new single-storey rear extension containing a foyer, bar and back stage facilities was added, radiating around the apsidal end of the chancel and opening onto a landscaped garden. The theatre itself is a flat-floored flexible studio space that was created by inserting a new steel structure within the volume of the existing church. A balcony was retained but extended forward and re-tiered to provide good sightlines to the stage area and two levels of new galleries were inserted at the sides, together with high level suspensions for scenery and stage lighting.

Sharnbrook Upper School

This project saw the construction a two-storey steel framed Science Department, comprising of 18 highly serviced, flexible laboratory spaces and general teaching facilities. Due to the scheme being located in the heart of an occupied school, SDC developed a detailed logistics plan to help minimise disruption, along with a robust programme to highlight potentially noisy activities. Following the successful completion of the Science Block, the School elected to negotiate a £3m contract extension to allow SDC to construct a two-storey dining block while simultaneously refurbishing the previous dining facilities to create a new library and reception area.
